2. Data Collection and Usage Virtual Buttons is designed to operate entirely locally on your device. 3. Use of the AccessibilityService API To provide its core functionality, Virtual Buttons requires the use of the Android AccessibilityService API.
Why do we need this permission? The App provides an on-screen floating panel with virtual buttons to help users easily interact with their device. The AccessibilityService API is strictly used to perform global system actions on your behalf when you tap these virtual buttons. These actions include:
Simulating a press of the "Home" button
Simulating a press of the "Back" button
Simulating a press of the "Recent Apps" button
Simulating presses of the hardware Volume Up/Down buttons
Opening the Power Dialog menu
What do we do with this permission? We use the AccessibilityService API solely to dispatch the above system actions.
We do not use this service to observe, read, or record your screen.
We do not use this service to read your typed text, passwords, or personal data.
We do not monitor or collect data about other applications you use.
4. Use of the "Draw Over Other Apps" (System Alert Window) Permission The App requires the "Draw Over Other Apps" permission to display the floating virtual button panel on top of your screen so it can be accessed at any time. This permission is used exclusively for rendering the App's user interface overlay.
5. Data Retention Because the App does not collect or transmit any data to us or any third parties, there is no personal data to retain or delete. Any settings you configure within the App (such as panel color or auto-hide preferences) are saved locally on your device and are permanently deleted if you uninstall the App.
